Delete your account in the app
Lifecycle supports in-app account deletion from the current mobile app experience.
- Sign in to your Lifecycle account.
- Open Settings.
- Choose the delete-account option in Settings.
- Review the warning, then continue.
- Type DELETE exactly as shown.
- Confirm the final permanent-deletion prompt.
After the deletion completes, Lifecycle signs you out on that device and the account is permanently removed from Lifecycle systems.
Delete specific data without deleting your account
Lifecycle also lets you remove certain account-linked data from inside the app without deleting your full account.
- Journal entries can be deleted from the journal/history experience.
- Habits can be deleted from habit management, including their tracking history.
- Chat conversations and stored memories can be deleted from the chat/history experience.
Use those in-app controls if you only want to remove selected content. Use the full account-deletion flow above if you want all account-linked Lifecycle data removed.
If you cannot access the app
If you cannot sign in, cannot reach Settings, or hit a technical issue during deletion, contact brenden@joinlifecycle.app from the email address associated with your account, or include enough information for us to verify ownership before helping with the request.
What to include in a support request
- The email address on your account.
- Your device platform, if relevant.
- A short note confirming that you want your Lifecycle account permanently deleted.
- Any detail about why the in-app deletion flow was unavailable, if relevant.
What deletion is intended to cover
Lifecycle deletion is intended to permanently remove the user account and core account-linked app data associated with it, which may include:
- Account and profile records.
- Journal entries, habits, reminders, and related reflection data.
- AI chat content, stored memories, and derived insight history held in Lifecycle systems.
- Uploaded avatar references associated with the account.
If you signed in with Apple
When you delete your Lifecycle account, Lifecycle additionally asks Apple to revoke the credentials it issued to the app for your Apple ID. After deletion completes, Lifecycle should disappear from Settings → Apple ID → Sign in with Apple on your iPhone. If it does not, you can remove it manually from that screen at any time and it will not affect Lifecycle's deletion of your account data.
What may be retained
Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, operational, backup, or store-billing reasons. Apple App Store and Google Play maintain their own purchase records, and those platform records are not deleted by Lifecycle when we process an account request.
Timing and confirmations
In-app deletion is designed to happen immediately after final confirmation. If a support-assisted request is needed instead, we aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, although follow-up may be needed if ownership is unclear or a billing issue must be reviewed first.
Data export
Data export is not part of the Lifecycle v1 launch scope. If that changes later, this page and the Privacy Policy will be updated.
